Dr Lisa Durning BDS FRCS

Lisa joined the practice in 2018 and has been reunited with her old colleagues for the first time in 16 years and is looking forward to welcoming new patients to the practice also.

Lisa graduated from Manchester dental school with honours in 2011, also receiving the outstanding academic achievement award for the best performance over the degree, and the East Lancashire BDA award for overall performance in the final year. Since then she has had experience working in paediatric dentistry, community dentistry, emergency dentistry and oral surgery before settling into general dental practice. 

Lisa enjoys all aspects of general practice, and is especially good at treating anxious patients, helping them to gain confidence and to meet their treatment needs. Lisa recently gained her MFDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, winning the John Smith Medal for her performance. 

Lisa enjoys hill walking, reading and going to concerts in her spare time. Lisa originates from Blackburn and now resides in the Ribble Valley with her partner and 3 children. 

The practice offers all aspects of dentistry in our modern bespoke facilities at Clayton le Moors. We have recently introduced digital dentistry and can now make your experience more pleasurable by avoiding the old fashioned impressions for crown and denture work.

 Dr Suzanne King BDS

Suzanne qualified from Sheffield University Dental School in 1998. Since then she has worked mainly in general dental practice but has also worked for the community dental service treating children and adults with special needs. She also worked for Bolton Emergency Dental Service for 18 years helping patients with acute dental conditions including abscesses, severe toothache and traumatic injuries.

After gaining a teaching qualification from UCLAN in 2013 Suzanne became an Educational Supervisor, mentoring a series of newly qualified dentists within general practice. This was a role she found extremely rewarding and enjoyable.

Suzanne enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a reputation for being gentle with patients, particularly those who are anxious about having treatment.
